The Shadow Isles’ Monsters Ignore Your Torch. A Demacian historian’s notes on Legends of Runeterra cards say what hunts looters there feeds on their fear, and he paid to leave a week early.

On the Shadow Isles, light drives back the Black Mist, yet the looters at the Whale’s Tooth say the things outside ignore their torches. A Demacian historian’s notes, spread across Legends of Runeterra cards, explain why: the demon Nocturne comes for fear, and the only safe way out is to pay for passage.

Shurima’s Buried Capital Is Already a Dungeon. Riot staged its traps, its cursed door and the ghosts on its dais, and its narrator calls the city’s rise a worse tragedy than its fall.

Azir raised Shurima’s capital from the desert, but the people it was built for burned in its fall, his only heir fled it, and its streets hold a sand army. Riot’s canon already stages the dungeon: the trapped catacombs, the cursed tomb door and the dais where sand replays Xerath’s betrayal.

The Celestial Realm Opens Only Inward. Every Crossing Riot Has Written Costs a Mortal Body, and the Only Map of the Far Side Is a Pattern in the Rock That Dead Climbers Melt Into.

Riot has drawn the city above Mount Targon, named its residents and given them a language, but no story in the canon has a Runeterran make that climb and come back down from it. The Aspects cannot cross down without borrowing a body, the ascent has no route anyone can map, and the climbers who fail are absorbed into the same rock patterns some Rakkor read as a map of the realms beyond. A grounded lore read of the crossing Riot has already fully specified, and what it leaves the Riot MMO to build. Nothing here is announced.
