Starfire Spellblade

The Starfire Spellblade is the celestial sword carried by Kayle, an Aspect of Justice bound to Demacia. Infused with the divine fire of the Aspect, the blade burns with holy flame and grows more powerful as Kayle ascends toward her full angelic form. It is a weapon of judgment, made to smite the unjust with purifying fire, and its potency swells in step with its wielder's embrace of righteous judgment. Kayle did not forge the weapon but inherited it. The blade passed to her from her mother, Mihira, the previous Aspect of Justice, who fell in defense of Demacia. Through that lineage the sword channels the power of the Aspect itself, drawing its starfire from the same celestial source that once answered to Mihira. The greatsword bears the name Virtue. Though its size would demand two hands from a mortal, Kayle's ascended strength lets her level it one-handed, a measure of the might her angelic form grants her. She shares that lineage with her twin sister, Morgana, the two born only a moment apart, with Kayle the elder of the pair by a single heartbeat. The blade remains in Kayle's hands, carried still as the instrument of her divine justice.
